Every box is age appropriate, beautifully presented and includes:

  • Everything you need to celebrate a birthday (birthday decorations, a cake to bake, candles and even birthday hats!)

  • Something the child needs (to help support them practically, this may include clothing, school supplies or other useful items)

  • Something the child wants (a generous gift that will help make the child feel special on their birthday)

  • Something for the child to read (a book specifically chosen for their age to help foster a love of reading)

Birthday In A Box is an initiative of Horizon Care In Action, and it is our hope for every child to feel valued and seen on their birthday. Partnering with reputable organisations already active in the local community, we will deliver Birthday In A Box to parents and children in emergency housing, hospitals and other high-need circumstances at no cost to the family.
